When you are young you mark time and season by the traditions we keep. Snow comes and in a while Christmas is here. A few weeks after Thanksgiving we hang stockings, put up the Christmas tree and make cut-out sugar cookies. Hot chocolate abounds.
My favorite Christmas tradition, is reading Christmas books all piled on the couch. Or seeing the glow of the tree in the quietness after the kids pad off to bed.
