It's a latte and a fleece morning. I pulled out my ugly, but comfortable and sensible shoes for winter. The wind is whipping us into shape, and the grey sky casts everything in an eery blue.
It's been this way for two days. The trees have less leaves, as if they've been forcibly stripped with the 50 mph gusts.
The kids this morning wanted to get dressed and then get back into 'the big bed' clothes, shoes, coats and all. Dark mornings make me feel like that too.
