Isabel picked up a very large paint brush from the painting day and asked, "Mom can I paint with this?"
Usually I would have said no, but my friend Joni told me that she used to put up brown paper in the garage and let her kids go-to-it with paint.
I am not that brave, and this is my kitchen walls we're talking about. So I gave them a dish of water, a paint brush each and a grocery bag taped to the wall.
It was a day full of fun. When it dried, they came back and painted it again! And Truman even cleaned some of the floor with his 'paint'!
